Who We Are?

Welcome to XLPower RC SA where we are happy to bring an exciting new product to the South African market, none other than the world renowned XLPower helicopter, born and bred for any style of flying. We specialize in 2 model sizes, the XLPower 550 and a 700 v2. We will be carrying the full line of parts for these models to make sure everyone in the XLPower family is well looked after. We are a small startup business with big dreams and aspirations to grow the RC helicopter community for all. 

Our upbeat team consist of:
Sam van Zyl. With 18 years of flying RC helicopter experience, 13 years in sales and flying from F3C competitions to 3D.

Danie Sauermann. With 11 Years of flying RC helicopter and South African 3D competitions and F3C. He is currently the South Africa 3D champion.

Jared Norman. 19 years of being in the RC community, flying RC helicopters for 8 years also flying 3D competitions and one of South Africa’s up and coming talents.

Ludwig Fourie, With 14 years of flying 3D. Represented South Africa at Heli Masters at Venlo in 2014 and has been South Africa 3D champion from 2011 to 2014 and 2018.

We will be supporting the XLPower and Protos brand in South Africa to the best of our abilities and rest assured our customer service is at the top of our priority list. We hope to hear from you soon and we will be visiting flying fields near you.
